What Is This Study About?
This study examines the impact on older adults of learning the results of amyloid brain imaging, which can indicate risk for Alzheimer's disease.
Do I Qualify To Participate in This Study?
Minimum Age: 65 Years
Maximum Age: 80 Years
Must have:
- At least one first-degree relative (parent, sibling, child) with Alzheimer's disease
- Study partner who will complete surveys and interviews and accompany subject to visits
- Willingness to give a cheek swab for Alzheimer's-related genetic testing
- English speaking
Must NOT have:
- History of stroke or head trauma
- Active medical or psychiatric illness that is unstable or progressive
- Taking memantine
