What Is This Study About?

This research study seeks to understand how stress reduction training influences well-being, sleep, and physical responses to stress in caregivers of people with dementia.

Do I Qualify To Participate in This Study?

Minimum Age: 50 Years

Maximum Age: N/A

Must have:

  • English speaking
  • Self-reporting informal caregivers of persons with dementia

Must NOT have:

  • Major depressive disorder with psychotic features
  • History of schizophrenia
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Uncorrected severe hearing or visual impairments or chronic serious health problems that could hinder study participation
  • Previous mindfulness-based stress reduction training or regular meditative practice in past 6 months
